This policy explains how MeshCore SAR ("we", "our", or "us") handles information when you use the mobile application ("App").
Information we collect
We do not collect, store, or share any personal information. MeshCore SAR does not ask you to sign in, create an account, or provide personal data. Everything the app does runs on your device and across the local MeshCore mesh network.
Data storage and access
All data you create, send, or receive in MeshCore SAR stays on your device and within the local mesh network. We do not send your messages, location data, contacts, or anything else to external servers, and we cannot access them.
Local mesh communication
Messages and location data travel only over the MeshCore LoRa mesh network, between devices you have paired with. That traffic:
- Moves peer to peer or through mesh repeaters
- Does not route through the internet or cellular networks
- Is not stored on any centralized server
- Stays within your local mesh network
Third-party services
MeshCore SAR does not use third-party analytics, advertising networks, or tracking tools. No information is shared with external services.
Location data
MeshCore SAR uses GPS location data for position tracking and navigation. That location data:
- Stays on your device
- Reaches other devices on your local mesh network only when you choose to transmit it
- Is never sent to external servers or services
- Can be controlled in the app's settings
Children's privacy
MeshCore SAR does not knowingly collect or process data from users of any age, including children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above.
